Days 1-4 Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor, Siem Reap Arrive at Siem Reap and transfer to Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor, where the rest of the day can be spent at leisure. On day two take a tour of Angkor Thom- the last capital of the great Khmer Empire, visit the sprawling Elephant Terrace and the enchanting Bayon. On day three take a tour to Banteay Kdei, built as a Buddhist monastic complex by Jayavarman II then onwards to the labyrinth which is Ta Prohm and after lunch to Angkor Wat. Day four enjoy an enchanting temple tour or take a boat ride to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia and experience the true way of life in one of the floating villages and see how the Khmers and Vietnamese live and work side by side.

Days 5-6 Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh Depart from Siem Reap for a flight to Phnom Penh and transfer to Raffles Hotel Le Royal for a day at leisure. There is a range of tours available from The Royal Palace the National Museum or Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Chueng Ek.

Days 7-11 Sokha Beach resort, Sihanoukville Transfer overland to Sihanoukville for your stay at Sokha Beach resort, located at a beautiful private beach, water activities and great rooms makes this a favourite of visitors alike and a fantastic place to relax and end your journey through Cambodia.



Cambodia Luxury Holiday ToursAngkor Wat The amazing 12th Century, Hindu inspired temple of Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is arguably the largest religious building in the world and has a volume of stone equalling that of the Cheops pyramid in Egypt. Conceived by Suryavarman II, Angkor Wat took around 37 years to build and it is generally believed to have been a funeral temple for the king.

Bayon This 12th Century masterpiece is an archaeological wonder of symmetry and grandeur. The exterior gallery walls have extensive and detailed bas-reliefs but the  main features are the 54 remaining towers each with 3 or 4 gently smiling faces pointing to the four Cardinal points.

Ta Prohm Known as the 'Tomb Raider Temple' as some scenes from the movie of the same were filmed here. In the dry season it is possible to enter from the spectacular Northern Gate where you will be guaranteed not to see any other tourists. As you trek along jungle paths used only by locals, you will feel like an early explorer; closer to Ta Prohm you will cross the ancient moat and soon after the dense jungle opens to reveal this stunning 12th Century Jungle Temple.

Climate The climate in Cambodia is best described as tropical, so depending on which area you're in, there are large differences in temperature and the amount of precipitation. The average daily temperature is 27° degrees Celsius. The best time of the year to travel to Cambodia is October through March; the dry season, when temperatures are more moderate. In April, Cambodia's climate can easily reach temperatures of 40°C. The rainy season runs from the second half of June through to the first half of October.

Flights Thai Airways, Malaysian Airlines and Singapore Airlines operate indirect scheduled services from London Heathrow.
