Last weekend’s Telegraph Magazine featured three glorious Dubai hotels from Travel Writer Francesca Syz; chosen for being places ‘not just for shopping’.
Desert Palm Per Aquum was the lead piece which she writes was “a true oasis”.
“Most Duabi hotels sell themselves on easy access to world-beating if soulless shopping malls. But Per Aquum, a swift 15-minute drive from the airport, is on the edge of the desert and in another class.”
Francesca also visited Anantara, The Palm and One&Only Royal Mirage; the former she describes as having “Far Eastern architectural, culinary and stylistic influences” and the latter “this is classic Dubai: a vision of Arabian opulence set in 65 acres of fountain-filled gardens”.
