The Arabian Gulf is a fantastic destination for couples and families alike, with so much to see and do, and of course plenty of luxury hotels and resorts to suit. So to showcase the fantastic offers we’ve got in our luxury Dubai flash sale, we thought we’d highlight to you the many reasons to visit this world-class destination.

Wild Wadi Waterpark
Fun for all the family – including adults – there are some 30 rides to enjoy at this park, as well as shops and food and drink outlets. For a VIP experience, ask our Concierge to arrange a private cabana.

Ski Dubai
Unusually for a destination in the desert, you can swish down snowy slopes at Ski Dubai! The ski centre is in the Mall of the Emirates, boasting everything from a toboggan run to a chairlift. There are five runs, ski lessons on offer and resident king penguins, and the resort makes for a particularly welcome escape from the hot Dubai sunshine in summer.

Skyview Bar
Treat yourself to an evening cocktail at this super-luxurious bar on the 27th floor of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel, where the spectacular views of the city are showcased through floor—to-ceiling windows. Some 200 metres above sea level you can enjoy classic cocktails and signature drinks, such as the Burj Royale, while live music accompanies the experience.

Dune Dinner Safari
This is a Dubai activity not to be missed. You’ll be driven by 4x4 over the dunes (some, we’re told, feel like being on a rollercoaster they are so high!) and when you think the desert can’t go on any further you come to a tented area where belly dancers, food and drink and henna tattoo painting will entertain you while the sun sets over the sands.

Dhow cruise
If you’re staying at the One&Only The Palm then you should definitely experience their moonlit dhow cruise. As you venture over the waters in this traditional wooden vessel you’ll be able to survey the stunning views while a delicious dinner and drinks are served.

The Dubai World Cup
As horse racing goes, few meets are as luxurious as that which comes together every March for the Dubai World Cup. The 10-furlong race is held at Meydan Racecourse, and you can expect the finest hospitality and vantage points when you book a trip through Horse Racing Abroad.

Duty-free shopping
Dubai is world-renowned for its high-class shopping malls, which boast all the big names in fashion at duty-free prices. At Mall of the Emirates you can peruse everything from Chanel to Fendi, Jimmy Choo to Prada, as well as excellent cafes and restaurants when you can shop ‘til you drop no more!

Swimming with dolphins
Taking to the waters with these incredible mammals is an experience which, those who’ve ticked it from their bucket list say, is truly memorable. At Atlantis the Palm’s Dolphin Bay you can scuba dive, swim or simply observe these friendly creatures as they enjoy their luxurious habitat.

Burj Khalifa
You can’t visit Dubai without heading to the top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, offering expansive views across the region.

Dubai is renowned as a destination to simply ‘fly and flop’ and with its golden beaches, calm, warm waters and excellent conditions for scuba diving, the coast remains one of its star attractions.
