Here at ITC Luxury Travel we love to hear all about your experience of our holidays, as there’s no better feedback for us than that which comes from our clients.

We were thrilled recently when the Mum of two of our youngest guests sent us an email describing how her daughters had found Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort on Antigua. A perfect, private island, family holiday destination, Jumby Bay is an ideal Caribbean escape for those travelling with children.

As the island is only reachable by boat, there isn’t a car in sight; meaning youngsters can roam free and enjoy their independence. When you do want to explore the four and a half miles of pristine white sand shoreline, you’ll discover winding paths and resort bicycles are the preferred mode of transport.

An assortment of accommodation options ensures that families of all shapes and sizes are well catered for, with a choice of rooms, suites and villas to suit. Alongside the new Rose Buds for Children programme, based in the children’s pavilion, there is also the opportunity for younger guests to take part in the Hawksbill Turtle Programme or enjoy a treatment from the Rose Buds Junior Spa Menu at SENSE®, A Rosewood Spa. Meanwhile parents can get a well-earned rest too, with nanny and babysitting services available should you need some couple time.

The descriptions we received from the two girls about Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort, were just wonderful, and so we thought we’d share their personal insight…

“I enjoyed Rosebuds and loved doing all the activities. We got to do lots of exciting things like crafts and stuff. It was fun because we got to do so many different things like watch movies, hide and seek, Beach Olympics, Hunt the Lizard, and make your own T-shirts. My favorite thing was Spike Your Bike - we got to take our bikes and decorate them and then we went on a big bike ride…that was my favourite day! We also went to the top of the sugar mill. The ladies were very kind and lovely and always made me smile. We got to play hide and seek and we did some cooking. It was my best holiday of my life and most favorite place in the world. It’s like paradise!”
Lola, 7 years

“I loved wearing the life jackets and going paddle boarding in the water. I loved playing Catch the Flag, making turtle cookies and making my own T-shirt with lots of bright colours. It was brilliant and made me so happy. We played dressing up, water bombs and the big doll’s castle was the bestest I have seen!”
Poppy, 3 years

“It’s such a safe island with no cars, no beach vendors; it’s a complete safe haven. I was able to allow Lola freedom that she would not get at home. She was able to have a bit of independence and feel grown-up. And I must admit the Beach Olympics was better than a school sports day!”x
