Recently our Product & Marketing Manager Zoe Saunders ventured off the island of Mauritius with her ITC colleagues Sarah Morgan and Lucy Briggs. They arrived on the early morning flight, welcomed by a stunning sunrise.

During their stay they visited the two Constance properties on the island; Belle Mare Plage and Le Prince Maurice. Here’s what they had to say about their stay….

Zoe: “The Constance Belle Mare Plage really impressed me with its variety of restaurants and accommodation. If golf is your thing, then this is the place for you, with lush green fairways boasting fantastic views. It’s a great family property too with plenty to keep kids entertained.

“Also on the island, the other Constance property, the smaller Le Prince Maurice, has a wonderful spa and very special dining choices. I’d recommend getting a real feel for the destination with accommodation in a suite on stilts!”

Sarah said of Constance Le Prince Maurice: “It was stunning, a romantic hideaway in a beautiful spot. Equally it’s great for families and has accommodation to suit all party sizes – I was really impressed with the standard of furnishings and all room categories. It’s peaceful, in a luxurious setting and felt very relaxing. It has a fabulous spa, great children’s club and a fantastic reputation for quality and service.

“Prince Maurice has a lot of VIP and repeat clients who visit year after year and I can see why; the staff are first class. I loved the beach, floating bar and restaurant and the fact that it is one of the only hotels on Mauritius to have rooms on stilts. A visit to the state of the art wine cellar is a must, it has capacity for more than 15,000 bottles and guests are invited to regular wine tasting where sommeliers guide you through the finest tipples.”

Lucy said: “I was super impressed with Mauritius as a whole, it’s such as beautiful island. I love marine life, I find it fascinating, and so snorkelling and exploring the underwater world here was a very special part of my stay. The reefs will astound you.

“Both Constance resorts offered luxurious accommodation and fantastic service and I would certainly recommend them for couples and families alike staying on the gorgeous island of Mauritius.”
