Here at ITC Luxury Travel we are thrilled to announce that we have been short-listed for the Employer of the Year Award at the Cheshire Business Awards.

The winners of the awards, which are run by Trinity Mirror Cheshire and sponsored by SAS Daniels, will be revealed on Friday October 3rd at an awards ceremony and black tie dinner at Chester Cathedral.

Here at International Travel Connections (ITC) we believe wholly that our people are our most vital asset, which is why we do so much to ensure our working environment is a happy, productive place to be.

Unlike other large luxury tour operators we have stayed true to our roots; keeping our Chester city centre base. We believe that being British owned and run is important to our clients and we know from staff feedback that this is important to them too.

There are certain things in life that are inevitable for each and every one of us…one such being that we’ll have amassed some 45 years of being ‘at work’ over the average lifetime. So our aim at ITC is to ensure this time is well spent, that every member of our valued team sees being at work as something that enhances their life…that their every minute here counts.

We don’t believe that an employer is simply someone who pays yours wages; we believe we have a responsibility to our staff to offer them so much more than that, in return for the precious time our staff give us. That’s why we’ve introduced a company-wide health and wellbeing programme, why every single member of staff gets a bonus each year and why we significantly invest in staff travel. But don’t believe me; ask the numerous staff who have been with us not just years but decades, or the apprentices offered their dream career at the end of their placement.

I’m certain they’ll tell you why our slogan is: ‘I’ve got the best job in the world’.
