Announcing The Ritz-Carlton Abama
Abama in Tenerife is a resort that continuously makes improvements to enhance our clients’ luxury holidays.
Over the past year they have changed El Mirador restaurant to adults-only (except for dinner between 6-8pm when children are permitted to dine) creating a peaceful and romantic dining experience overlooking the ocean for couples. Abama has also updated the décor of their One Bedroom Suites, creating modern and fresher rooms for their discerning guests. Every year they also close the golf course for regular aeration of the greens, as well as closing the restaurants for training of the chefs – all to create the top luxury resort on the island.
However the latest improvement is possibly the biggest in Abama’s nine year history…as of yesterday, the resort will be known as The Ritz-Carlton, Abama. Ritz-Carlton has managed the resort since 2007 and 2014 will not only bring the change of name but also a renovation of guest rooms and suites, with improvements seen to the signature Ritz-Carlton Club services later this year. For anyone who has stayed in a Ritz-Carlton hotel anywhere in the world - my personal favourite is the Ritz-Carlton Dubai - then you will know this is a fantastic addition to Abama’s luxury services.
“This resort embodies our company culture, commitment to our guests and focus on service excellence. The current ladies and gentlemen at the resort will continue to provide our guests with the personalized and anticipatory service for which we are known”, said Bob Kharazmi, Global Officer, Worldwide Operations, The Ritz-Carlton. “We are proud that this beautiful resort will now be clearly recognised as part of our branded portfolio and that our guests will soon be able to enjoy additional signature services of The Ritz-Carlton at this property.”
And there’s good news for families too, with the brand’s ‘Ritz Kids’ programme launching at the family-friendly resort.
Abama Golf & Spa Resort was a firm favourite of our clients, and staff, and no doubt The Ritz-Carlton, Abama will continue to be so.
