No.1   Hydrate yourself

It’s easy to get into the habit of only drinking caffeinated drinks in the day, followed by a glass of wine in the evening, but keeping yourself properly hydrated with water is essential for healthy living. The National Hydration Council (NHC) says water accounts for about 60% of an adult’s body weight, performing crucial roles such as carrying nutrients to cells, helping to remove waste products from our major organs and helping to regulate our body’s temperature. Studies show that dehydration can reduce our ability to concentrate, our cognitive and physical performance and increase feelings of aggression or irritation, but a survey by the NHC showed that almost 65% of us are not drinking the minimum amount of water. It is recommended you drink eight x 8oz glasses of water a day to stay properly hydrated.

Our Health & Wellbeing team recommend Mii Amo, Arizona

The resort says “These subtle treatments call on the timeless power of water to deeply relax the body, restore the energy flow, clear the mind and open the heart.” It includes a Hydrotherapy Bath, Milk and Honey Bath and Watsu.
