Great news for travellers coming or going from Manchester, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, as Virgin have announced their new Little Red flights are due to launch soon providing a service to London Heathrow Terminal 1.

These flights will be perfect for those northern and Scottish travellers transferring to a Virgin Atlantic long haul flight as from London Heathrow, there will be a bus waiting at T1 to transfer from the Little Red flight to Terminal 3 departures - with no need to go through security again. On the return, clients follow the purple 'Flight Connections' signs to get the transfer bus to Terminal 1 for their Little Red UK domestic flight.

Little Red is all one class, with flights departing before 9am serving hot breakfast rolls with tea, coffee and juice. Any flight after 9am will have a choice of cookies or crisps and a full bar service. For Long haul Upper Class passengers connecting in Heathrow they can use the complimentary Chauffeur service providing the fare allows it. Priority Check-in and Boarding will be offered. Pre-flight lounges are also available, at Manchester it is the Escape Lounge and at Edinburgh and Aberdeen it is the Service Air lounge.

The Manchester service will launch on 31 March and run four times a day, Aberdeen launches on 9 April and will be three flights a day, with Edinburgh's six daily flight services commencing from 5 April - I'm sure Little Red will be another Virgin triumph.
