The Amazing Amalfi Coast

With only one road in and one road out, it's impossible to miss the sheer beauty of the Italian Amalfi Coast and this magnificent stretch of coastline is home to the world famous towns of Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and many more along the way.

Positano is the first town you'll come across on the Amalfi Coast - it is a vertical town where the roads are replaced by steep flights of steps and resembles a Neapolitan nativity scene set amidst the rocks - stunning.

Amalfi is a seaside town which is rich in history and timeless beauty. It sits right in the centre of the Amalfi Coast between the rocks and the water and enchant visitors and locals alike so much so that the inscription on the gates into the town reads, "For the people of Amalfi the day they enter Paradise will be a day much like any other: because for them paradise is already here on earth, right on their doorstep".

Ravello attracts a cultured crowd with its concerts, its artistic treasures and its fabulous cliff edges gazing out to the sea. Unlike the majority of the towns on the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is not located by the sea. However, beauty comes naturally to Ravello with its jaw dropping cliff top views! This irresistible town is my personal favourite as it is home to the divine Hotel Caruso, a former 11th century palace which is set on cliffs and seems to drift on a balcony above the Mediterranean Sea. Renowned for its infinity edge pool which is found at the highest point of Ravello and blends perfectly within the natural surroundings - heavenly!
