The awesome Adriatic coast that can only be Croatia!

Croatia is simply stunning and with its pastel-coloured houses clustered together on steep winding streets topped by a Venetian bell tower…'d be forgiven for thinking you were in Italy! My first stop was Rovinj, the most famous tourist centres in Istria and Croatia and one of the most picturesque towns on the Adriatic. The town has rich history as well as interesting architectural buildings and beautiful natural resources. To have a latté in the town square is a must!

Both the Hotel Lone and the Monte Mullini are in easy walking distance to the historic town. Hotel Lone is nestled in an age-old forest where it offers a Mediterranean inspired wellness spa and urban style, along with it's uniquely named L, ON and E restaurants that provide some truly delicious food choices! Try the savory shrimp and crab dished - delicious! In my opinion their Deluxe Jazz Rooms are truly special as they feature a private infinity pool massage bathtub on the balcony overlooking the dramatic forest park.

For a boutique hotel experience in unforgettable surroundings, Hotel Monte Mullini again situated in the south of Rovinj amongst the forest, located next to the sea in Lone Bay is sensational. An ideal choice whether it is for a weekend getaway, a Wellness & Spa holiday. All rooms at the Monte Mullini have balconies with panoramic views of the parkforest and a lovely touch to each room or suite is the amenities that are placed on guests arrival…bottle of water, dried fruit (figs, chocolates, almonds) - delicious!

For a wine-orientated gastro experience, the Wine Vaults traditional design offers an atmosphere of an intimate wine cellar. But for those of you looking for some pampering guests staying at either the Monte Mullini may use Hotel Lone Wellness & Spa Centre which is connected to the Monti Mulini Wellness. The Wellness facility is arranged over three floors. Its three zones consist of Beauty, Zen Spa & Active.

Both hotels in my opinion are ideal for honeymooners, single travellers, couples looking for a weekend break and the area of Rovinj is quiet and romantic so would ideally suite any grown up holiday. Croatia is simply spectacular and its coastline has to be of the most beautiful in the world. I can't wait to go back!
