Crystal Cruises may be small - a fleet of just two cruise ships and a 62-guest yacht - but they are luxurious vessels and the Crystal experience is defined by the high levels of service you receive and the vast array of ports you can visit.
Once on board you'll find that wines, spirits and even champagne flow without restraint throughout the dining rooms, bars and lounges, with gourmet cuisine to savour and menus designed by celebrity restaurateurs such as Nobu Matsuhisa. The best part though is that everything is complimentary as these cruises are all-inclusive. A bright idea is Crystal's Connoisseur List; if you don't find exactly what you are looking for within their extensive complimentary selection of wines there is also a list, with reasonably priced wines, that you'll be able to choose from.
Crystal Cruises are consistently awarded the highest accolades including, for the last 20 years, being voted World's Best by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler and for 18 years by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazines; so you can rest assured that your experiences will be outstanding.
Crystal River Cruises
Bringing the same high standards of service and accommodation they are renowned for on their ocean cruises to the waterways of Europe, the addition of river voyages to Crystal Cruise’s portfolio is an exciting development for cruise enthusiasts. Journeying along the Danube and the Rhine, these luxury river yachts offer a unique way to see central Europe.
The first ship of this new fleet, Crystal Mozart, embarked on her maiden voyage along the Danube in summer 2016. Accommodating a maximum of 158 guests, all suite categories are spacious and stylishly appointed. Dining on board is a delight too, with some five food and beverage options. Joining Crystal Mozart in June 2017, the Crystal Bach is the first of four purpose-built vessels to be added to the fleet and she will embark on voyages along the UNESCO protected Upper Rhine Valley.
The two cruise ships are Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony. The former is capable of accommodating 1,070 guests and is the larger of the two ships, yet it maintains one of the highest space-per-guest ratios at sea. The latter can accommodate 922 guests, with onboard amenities including grand lounges, full-service fitness facilities, Crystal Casino, Feng Shui-inspired spa, and 360° teak Promenade Deck.
While onboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony you'll discover that, as well as plenty of treats for grown-ups, there are dedicated children's facilities; a rarity on luxury ships. Teenagers also have access to the Waves teen centre and there is Fantasia, a children's playroom. There is also a vast range of imaginative activities that have been created specifically to suit the ages and number of children on select itineraries and we just know your children will love them!
The latest addition to the fleet is Crystal’s ‘boutique hotel on water’, the 62-guest yacht Crystal Esprit, which sails to the finest ports in the world while treating guests to all-inclusive indulgence and butler-serviced suites. Small enough to sail into hard to reach destinations and with complimentary excursions, this is a wonderful way to explore the world in style.
From summer 2017, Crystal River Cruises will launch two brand new river yachts, Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler. The luxury ships will feature butler service in every suite, a choice of restaurants, as well as a pool and spa.
With 176 voyages to choose from in diverse destinations from Europe and the Mediterranean, North America, the Panama Canal, to the Mexican Riviera, the Caribbean, South America, the Pacific Ocean, Asia, and the Indian Ocean and with cruises ranging from six days to over an 100 day World Cruise - Crystal Cruises really do offer something to entice discerning travellers.
