Set on a 220 hectare private island and surrounded by one of the largest Marine Parks in the Indian Ocean, Sainte Anne Island is certainly one of the prettiest resorts in the Seychelles. The sea-facing villas are a fusion of traditional style and space, designed to blend effortlessly into the landscape, with many of the villas having been devised with families in mind.

Deserving its reputation for exceptional cuisine, Sainte Anne Island boasts four restaurants to choose from. Make sure you spend at least one night in the glorious setting of Le Mont Fleuri, which opens directly onto the beach with dining areas set on stilts over the softest sand. You might also like to take advantage of romantic dining on the beach at Le Robinson or under the private gazebo at your villa.

The Sainte Anne Spa by Clarins is set in beautiful tropical gardens and offers outstanding treatments in exotic surroundings, while the sport and fitness facilities include personal trainers and power plates for more active guests.

Sainte Anne Resort & Spa comprises 87 sea facing villas, 29 of which have private pools. All have a private garden and an open terrace or a gazebo – some in fact have both.

There’s a whole new world to be discovered at Sainte Anne Resort & Spa. With its beaches lapped by one of the largest Marine Parks in the world, the island is a favourite nesting ground for sea turtles. Guests visiting between the months of October and January might be lucky enough to see turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs, while those visiting two months later could have the privilege of witnessing the hatchlings making their maiden voyage down to the ocean. The hotel has devised a protection programme to help with the preservation of these wonderful animals.

The Sports and Leisure Centre at the resort will keep you busy with an array of exciting activities – enjoy everything from board games to weight training.

Experienced staff will help you uncover the most heavenly corners of the island. You can choose from three different treks, as well as nature walks, botanical walks and jogging trails. Other activities on land include beach volley ball, tennis lessons, mini-football, cycling and pool.

Sainte Anne is also a great Seychelles choice if you want to be at the heart of one of the most beautiful Marine Parks in the Indian Ocean. Explore the fascinating underwater world with a glass bottom kayak, or try snorkelling or scuba diving.

Finally, both you and your children will love the Sainte Anne’s Kids’ Club. Your little ones will really get to know the island, thanks to the impressive activity programme, which includes glass bottom boat trips, botanical treks, cookie baking and coconut painting.

You’ll experience some of the best dining in the Seychelles at Sainte Anne Resort & Spa. Three of the five restaurants are set directly on the beach so that guests are treated to an indulgent feet-in-sand experience.

The hotel’s main restaurant is L'Abondance. Water features are central to this relaxed restaurant’s design, and the themed buffets are sure to tempt even the most discerning of palates.

The thatched pavilions of the L'Océane restaurant are dotted across the beach and are linked together by stone walkways. Opening seasonally from June to October, L'Océane specialises in simple, authentic seafood dishes and fresh fish.

Head to Le Mont Fleuri, considered one of the finest restaurants in the Seychelles, for a unique and luxurious dining experience. Set on wooden stilts atop a magnificent granite outcrop and surrounded by age-old trees, this special treetop-level restaurant affords guests phenomenal panoramas of the island and sea, while the impeccable service and European fare will entice you back again and again.

Another option is the delightful beach restaurant Le Robinson. The romantic atmosphere evokes dreams of desert islands, and the rustic driftwood tables, giant granite boulders and uninterrupted vistas of the Indian Ocean make for a very memorable evening indeed. Guests are even invited to cook their own food on a pierrade, a hot stone slab.
