Inspired by the colonial mansions of bygone times, The Residence Mauritius promises a sophisticated blend of timeless elegance and modern luxury.
Each of its airy rooms and suites opens onto a private balcony or terrace with stunning views of the ocean, or the 25 acres of tropical gardens that surround the resort. Evenings at The Residence Mauritius are spent in The Dining Room, a sophisticated restaurant made entirely of wood. Savour heady Mauritian flavours and international delights as you drink in the views of the pool and beyond. You’ll also love The Plantation, a stunning oceanfront restaurant serving Creole cuisine and the freshest seafood. Live Sega dancing and local entertainment will keep you content in the evenings. For more live music, head to The Bar, where you can also enjoy a sumptuous sundowners whilst lounging in an inviting armchair.
Other dining options include the poolside Verandah, where you can enjoy toasted sandwiches and homemade ice creams. Or there’s The Gourmet Kiosque for sweet treats, including waffles and pancakes.
Children will be swept away into a magical world of fairytales at the Planters Kids’ Club, where an extensive activity programme and exceptional facilities will keep them more than happy. They’ll love the playground, surrounding tropical gardens and myriad of activities, such as treasure hunts, snorkelling classes, picnics, glass-bottom boat tours, pony rides, fashion shows, film evenings and making your own pizza sessions.

The hotel has a fantastic kids’ club called The Planters Kids Club which is inspired by a sugar-cane plantation house. The club is open from 9am to 10pm for children aged 3 to 12 years who can then enjoy the 400 square meters of playgrounds and gardens free of charge.
A team of professionals supervise and entertain the children with a range of activities and games including snorkelling, pony rides, hikes and picnics. During the evening the club offers children further entertainment including plays, films and fashion shows.
