On the Bukit Peninsula (Bukit means 'hill' in Indonesian) located at the southern end of the island of Bali, the coastline raises letting you to enjoy some amazing sea views. Here you'll discover a place where breathtaking coastal views allow you to appreciate the ocean which is great for surfers and stretches as far as the eye can see.

This region is much more tranquil than Jimbaran Bay, although its only 15 minutes away and Bukit Peninsula is also near to the renowned Uluwatu Temple, regarded as one of the six most important temples and undoubtedly one of the most spectacular. Dramatically located on a cliff top 250 feet above the waves of the Indian Ocean it's where the pilgrimage of Dang Hyang Nirartha came to an end as it is said that this is where the High Priest shed his natural human form. One thing is for sure it's a truly stunning temple that's well worth a visit, especially at sunset, as the Kecak dance performance is held here everyday.
