About me

Travel has been in my life for over 18 years now and remains very much at the heart of what I do and who I am, that and music; I love a festival and there's nothing better than a glass of wine in the sunshine, surrounded by my friends and family and a good band playing in the open air.

I have worked in various roles from reservations selling European city breaks, to worldwide travel to the furthest places you can travel to, and my favourite place on the earth - South Africa.

After working overseas with a travel company in both their summer sun and ski destinations I then started working as a Sales Manager back in the UK, working with our travel agent friends to help deliver bespoke travel arrangements for their clients and work on strong and fruitful partnerships. I am fortunate and ever so excited about working with a luxury and well established brand such as ITC.

To relax I love nothing more than a yoga class to unwind both body and mind, ready to then be Mummy to my little boy, William.

Favourite Places

Without question my first most loved place is South Africa. This is a place that touch’s all of your senses and brings you back from your travels a different person.

South Africa is about adventure, relaxation, discovery, making friends, being close to nature and tasting some of the best new world wines there are to offer.

Laos, is for me without question the most friendly and unspoilt place you could ever visit…Wow! The Mekong River gives life to this country and the monk’s inspire people to be at peace and love who we have. Kick back and take a breath, life does not pass you by here it simply moves along with you.

Travel Tip

Travelling with your children for the first time can be a real pleasure if you are organised. I took an introduction card on my first trip with William and handed this out to the passengers around us. It introduced William, his age and the fact this was his first trip on a plane.

It apologised for any noise he may make but to enjoy the sweets we had put in a goody bag for them and use the ear plugs we had given them if he was noisy.

What this did was made us relaxed, which made William relaxed and also the people around us, who had all perhaps also been through their first holiday with children and therefore empathised with us and did not give us the death stare, or the look of panic when they saw a child was sat near to them!
